Scott is a proven transactional professional, having spent more than 25-years executing mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital raise and distressed company sales. Scott utilizes his legal background and engineering mindset to provide a unique perspective in finding solutions to difficult business issues. His experience having closed hundreds of transactions working for a large law firm and bulge bracket investment bank enables him to add value in all aspects of M&A transactions, including distressed and turnaround situations, as he is skilled at resolving complex issues in a practical manner.
Scott graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Industrial & Management Engineering as well as a law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, Cum Laude. Scott began his career with Winstead PC in their general corporate and securities practice and spent 8 years as the General Counsel of Lehman Brothers’ Private Equity Group where he helped scale the business to $18 Billion of assets under management and to a successful spinout of the business with Neuberger Berman during the Lehman Bothers’ Bankruptcy.

Jonathan is an entrepreneurial, innovative executive leader with extensive skills in operations management, strategic planning, and business development. He has a history of building and improving companies in all facets as well as preparing for and executing mergers and acquisitions transactions. Jonathan currently is the General Manager of one of the largest shipyards in Australia. He has spent the past 3 years preparing that business to successfully complete a transaction to sell a majority stake in the business. As part of his mandate he implemented a rollup strategy to diversify service offerings and growing both revenue and profits. Previously Jonathan held positions as the head of Sales for a division of N2 publishing focused on bringing businesses into their marketing fold. This encompassed working with 60 directors to help them establish relationships with lower middle market businesses. Jonathan also has assisted a homebuilding business go through a significant workout process and makes investments in residential real estate and private companies. Jonathan’s role will primarily be in business development and execution of transactions. He will be able to related to business owners going through a life changing transition and can quickly build relationships with business owners. He will also bring his experiences with M&A transactions from inside a business to the execution phase.
